Recently, we helped a customer at our Weston-super-Mare Space Program who had hired a 10-foot container to store the items from her flat while she moved home. The removal company brought her items down to our self-storage site and loaded directly into the container. As we deal with a lot of removal companies they know the best way to load a container to ensure the entire space is used efficiently.
Unfortunately, a delay put the house move back by 4 weeks. This meant she would need to take a few items out of storage to use during this period. When she opened her container door she found that the removal company had packed items tightly in the container. With her move delayed, she would need to visit the unit a few times during this period to get different items. Every time she used the container she would then need to spend hours unloading and loading it.
Our customer spoke to our mission controller at the site who upgraded her to a larger unit. This gave her twice the space and allowed her easy access to the items she needed. She didn’t have to unload the unit each visit, saving her time. Our mission controller even arranged for members of our team to help the lady move her items to the new unit so she didn’t have to do this mammoth task on her own.
Our customer was delighted that we found a solution to her problem and that upgrading was so simple. She was also very grateful to the team at the Space Program for helping to move her belongings.
