Can you use self storage as a workshop?
The simple answer is yes. There are some things you need to think about.
Our containers make excellent workshops. We have customers who use them for upcycling furniture or working on bicycles. We also have people who store and maintain items such as classic cars. The units easily accommodate both the vehicle and all the tools, parts and other equipment. You need to be aware of a few safety restrictions. For example, you can’t keep petrol or other flammable liquids on our sites.
Our Mission Controllers are always happy to advise on the few limitations we have.
You can rent one of our self storage containers with electricity. Our powered units are useful for plugging in tools, providing some added light or simply running a radio while you work.
